| Candace K. Platz,
D.V.M |
|
| |
|
| Candace graduated
from the veterinary college at Cornell in 1981. She has been
associated with Maine Equine for many years. Her interests
outside of practice mean that you may not see her on farm calls
as often as the rest of us. She is a US Dressage Federation
certified instructor/ trainer, and an FEI competitor. She owns
5 Lippizans and a Warmblood. Because of her veterinary background
and riding skills she is uniquely qualified to answer the question, “Is
the problem we are seeing here the horse or the rider?” |
|
| |
| Candace and
her husband Jim live on their horse farm in Poland. Jim volunteers
his time and plane flying for Angel Flight of New England.
They have 2 daughters, Shana, who is a law student at Georgetown, Washington D.C., and Becca who has been interning at Riding to the Top and will be attending UNH in the Fall, majoring in outdoor education. |
